1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit it, in order to store and retrieve information about your browsing and recognize you on later visits.

2. What cookies does this site use?

This site uses first-party and third-party cookies, grouped into the following categories:

  • Technical or necessary: they enable basic navigation and site security. They are always active.
  • Analytics: they let us know, in aggregate form, how the site is used (pages visited, time spent, where visits come from) in order to improve it. They are only activated with your consent. We do not currently use cookies in this category.
  • Marketing: they allow us to measure the effectiveness of our communications and show relevant content on other platforms. They are only activated with your consent.

Google’s marketing cookies can only be set if you accept that category; they are mainly used when you arrive at our site from a Google ad.

3. How to manage cookies

When you first visit the site, you will see a notice that lets you accept, reject or configure non-necessary cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

If you block technical cookies, some site features may not be available.

4. Third-party cookies and external links

Some third-party services may set their own cookies, which are governed by those third parties’ privacy policies. For example, the YouTube videos embedded on this site only load when you press the play button. The site also contains links to external sites (for example, social networks or WhatsApp), whose cookies and policies we do not control.

5. Retention period

Cookies are kept only for as long as necessary to fulfill their purpose, as indicated in the table. You can review and delete them at any time from your browser.

6. Minors

We do not use cookies to send targeted advertising to children or adolescents.

7. Data protection

Where cookies allow you to be identified, the processing of that data is governed by our Privacy & Personal Data Protection Policy, which explains how to exercise your rights and withdraw your consent.

8. Updates

TREU may amend this policy. If we add new non-necessary cookies or use existing ones for different purposes, we will ask for your consent again.
