Professional profile

Sebastián Andrade Yánez develops his practice exclusively in the field of criminal law, advising and representing individuals and legal entities in investigations and criminal proceedings of high complexity.

He is an Attorney before the Courts of the Republic from the International University of Ecuador. He began his career in the Litigation and Legal Advice Division of the National Corporation for Popular and Solidarity Finance (CONAFIPS) and later joined Fexlaw Abogados, a firm widely recognised for its criminal law and compliance practice, where he took part in the strategy and defense of complex criminal proceedings.

His practice is characterised by a highly technical approach to strategic criminal litigation, complex investigations, digital evidence analysis, theory of the case and legal argument, combining doctrinal rigour with a practical, results-oriented outlook.

He has concentrated his practice on designing defense strategies for matters of particular complexity, especially in economic crimes, offenses against public administration, offenses against property and general criminal law.

He maintains a standing interest in the evolution of contemporary criminal law, economic criminality and new technologies applied to criminal investigation and litigation, integrating this knowledge into innovative legal strategies for his clients.
